The plaque alongside the highway says Freeway 280 near Serramonte Mall in Daly City as "The most beautiful freeway" award given to it. Daly City is also know to locals as "Little Manila" or "Fog City" for its cooling fog rolling off the Pacific Ocean on to this northern California peninsula. Nearby is the favorite spot: Krispy Kreme and In & Out Burgers, with the famous skating park with half pipes and the Daly City DMV office one block away. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuZNMWrIQJs The Colma Bart terminal station is the closest to this location, you can see Seton Hospital on the top of the hill on the left side, across from the Colma Bart station. But better behave as the Police station is across from the skating park. Yes, Daly City is an exiting place to be, and you are only 6 miles away from the SFO airport!! You can take BART to the SFO and Oakland airports from Daly City.
